With Kamal's upcoming film Uthama Villain commencing yesterday, many interesting news about the Ramesh Aravind directed flick are pouring in. As it was reported earlier Kamal is playing a ageing superstar in the film and the film has three heroines. Sources close to the team state that Parvathy Menon of Poo and Maryan fame has been confirmed to play one of the heroines.
While it was earlier reported that veteran director K.Balachander is acting in a pivotal role, news of another senior director joining the film's cast have started surfacing. It is said that K.Viswanath who directed Kamal in his classic films like Salangai Oli and Sippikkul Muthu and also acted with the Padma Bhushan actor in the film Kuridhi Punal has been roped into to play a pivotal role in Uthama Villain.
Sources also cite another interesting addition to the cast. Comedy actor Vivek who has never starred in a Kamal movie in his career spanning 3 decades will be acting with the Universal Star for the first time in this film to be produced jointly by Tirupathi Brothers and Rajkamal Films.
